A new health and wellness initiative with the City of Englewood, the Englewood Health Department, Englewood Health, and Flat Rock Brook. This six-session program takes place at Flat Rock Brook the 2nd and 4th Saturday in June, July, and August. Each session will run for two hours. Meet at 9:45am in front of the Nature Center / 443 Van Nostrand Avenue, Englewood, NJ. Participants will do two rounds of the half mile White Loop Trail. The goal of this program is to promote physical activities, including walking, for the prevention and control of chronic disease and for overall health and wellness. Each session will focus on a specific chronic disease like cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, cancer, and neurological diseases.
