C-1: Operation: Adaptation (June 24 - June 28)
Adaptations are behaviors or physical characteristics that help animals survive in their habitats, or homes. Campers will explore adaptations of different animals and see real examples of those adaptations in action!
C-2: The Science of Nature (July 15 - July 19)
Nature is at the center of many different science fields. Whether you’re studying outer space or the stories rocks tell us of the past, nature plays a role. Campers explore all of those fields and more during their week at Flat Rock Brook!
C-3: The Markings of an Animal (August 5 - August 9)
You should never judge a book by its cover…but you CAN identify an animal by its markings! This week will cover the many markings and features that make an animal recognizable.
C-4: CSI: FRB (August 26 - August 30)
Join an investigative team solving the latest “whodunnits” of the forest. Track down animals and figure out which critter is responsible for tracks found on the ground or screeches heard up in the trees.
