A separate form must be completed for each child attending.

Participants must be or become $45 family members. Current members will be receiving membership renewal notices in a few weeks, or may renew at this time.

Children may attend only one week-long session.

Registration is by mail only. There is no in-person registration.

Summer Nature Day Camp 2010


Summer Nature Day Camp offers hands-on discoveries and adventures for children ages pre-K to seventh grade. Explore the forest, pond, and meadow through nature activities, crafts, and games. Each age group focuses on a specific nature theme through hikes, games, crafts, stories, and experiments. For the best learning experience, each group is kept small with 10-15 children. Camp fee includes Flat Rock T-shirt.

Flat Rock Brook’s Summer Nature Day Camp is certified by the State of New Jersey and meets all of the health and safety standards required by the State of New Jersey Youth Camp Safety. Camp ID #1876.

It’s Alive!
Investigate living and non-living things at

Learn about reptiles and amphibians.
For children entering 1st and 2nd grades. Monday – Friday.

Furry and Feathered
Discover mammals and birds of New Jersey.
For children entering 3rd and 4th grades. Monday-Friday

Session C-1: July 5-9
Session C-2: July 26-30
Session C-3: August 16-20

Survivor
Explore what it takes to survive in the Wilderness.
Campers learn orienteering, outdoor survival, and
Native American skills.
For children entering 5th – 7th grades.
Monday – Friday
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. $190.
Session D-1: July 12-16
